Helicopters' Thruxton
base is located on
Salisbury Plain giving
us the enviable position
of being able to carry
out practical training
at both military and
civilian aerodromes
close by.

Helicopter Simulator
Simulator training takes place in our brand new FNPTII IR(H) trainer. Housed at Thruxton, the simulator is an ideal learning environment for ground-based training.

Lecture Rooms
Our primary lecture room can accommodate 8 students and has an interactive board with LCD Projection System, which allows the use of laptop computers, projector and DVD or VHS equipment for comprehensive presentations. We also have additional training rooms, which are used for individual pilot briefing and flight planning.

Instructors
We have a team of dedicated simulator instructors who are all UK CAA/European EASA approved. They are all current as instructors on the company’s AS355 fleet and both current and qualified on all aspects of commercial flight operations. Offering what we believe is an ideal balance of simulator and operational experience to give the optimum training.

Aircraft
Instrument Rating and Multi Engine flight training is carried out on the AS355 Twin Squirrel helicopter which is based at Thruxton.

Our administration team offer full support including arranging accommodation, subsistence and travel arrangements where required.
