Helicopter gift vouchers make an ideal present - they provide an extra special experience that will never be forgotten! Better still, you can save £££'s by buying direct from FAST Helicopters, rather than through third party suppliers.
Our gift vouchers may be presented as a helicopter pleasure flight, or as a Trial Lesson (also known as an introductory lesson), where the recipient can even take control of the aircraft! For more in depth experiences, we offer helicopter Basic Courses and Experience Days - see below.
Flying time logged during Trial Lessons, Basics Courses and Experience Days can count towards your very own Private Pilots Licence should you choose to progress.
All gift vouchers come in a smart presentation wallet with a silver envelope as pictured left.

The Trial Lesson
This is the most popular type of flying experience that we offer and is a great introduction to the world of helicopters. The lesson begins with one of our experienced instructors explaining the basics of helicopter flight and how the controls work.
Then it's time to take to the air as the student will be given the chance to actually pilot the helicopter in the skies over and around Shoreham or Thruxton Airport.
Towards the end of the lesson comes the greatest challenge - hovering. There is a saying "To fly is heavenly, to hover is divine", never a truer word spoken!
Once back on terra firma the instructor will be happy to answer any questions and will be on hand to discuss and provide information on further training if the student has been bitten by the 'heli-bug!'
We also produce a personalised certificate to show that they have taken control of a helicopter.
Pleasure Flights
If it's a more sedate experience you're are looking for then why not sit back, relax, and enjoy a stunning helicopter sightseeing tour. Our Shoreham and Thruxton bases are ideally located for exploring the sights of southern England.
We provide a range of vouchers for a variety of aircraft - all you have to do is enjoy your bird's eye view from on high.
Our aircraft are able to seat up to four passengers so friends and family can come along for the ride!
Pleasure flights in the R22 are available at Thruxton only.
Trial lessons are available at both bases.
Basics Course
This is the next step up from the Trial Lesson. It is designed to take the student through the first two lessons of the training syllabus for the Private Pilots Licence for Helicopters (PPLH).
The Basics Course is relaxed and informative, being spread over half a day. The course incorporates two forty-five minute flights with both pre and post-flight briefings. As the flights are taken from the PPLH syllabus these count towards the student's licence.
Experience Day
This includes 2.5 hours flying which is split into three flights with full pre and post flight briefings for each flight. The day usually starts around 0930 when the instructor will explain the day's events over a cup of coffee. Before the first flight the instructor will go through a thorough pre-flight inspection before explaining what the first flight will entail.
During the day many aspects of helicopter flight will be covered and the student will soon begin to gain confidence in their ability to handle the helicopter.
As with the Basics Course and the Trial Lesson, this time will count towards the student's Private Pilots Licence for Helicopters.
Please Note
Gift Vouchers can be issued as either Trial Lessons or Pleasure Flights.
Pleasure Flights in the Robinson R22 are only available from Thruxton. All R22 voucher flights from Shoreham will be classed as Trial Lessons.
